Tamar Morgendorff

Tamar Morgendorff is a textiles designer I discovered in Selvedge magazine. Based in New York, Tamar creates unique and poetic designs. In her Brooklyn workshop, she mixes linen, mohair, tweeds but also vintage fabrics to design bird nests and birdcages, aquariums and refined little animals to name but a few.
I can’t help but fell that the bird houses would look stunning on the wall of a nursery along with the bird cage hanging above the cot as a mobile..what a perfect gift this would make.
